Finally ran out of wind after 5 great days of sailing - motored across a glassy sea all day.

The water is unbelievably clear: we stopped for a swim and could see jellyfish 15-20 metres down. Hygeia seemed suspended in space. Swimming was a slightly surreal experience knowing the water was 3000 metres deep, and feeling the boat drifting away (had a rope trailing behind with a float just in case).

Several visits from dolphins - Mazy stopped the boat and crew swam with them. Mie was not too happy - unsure of the significance of triangular dorsal fins!!

Will arrive at Galle on Monday morning.

Hygeia is a very happy ship.
