We left Port Sudan at 06:30 on a possible good forecast, but wind up to 28 knots, so after 30 miles took shelter in a sheltered Marsa (a gap in reef). It is really beautiful - turquoise water and wonderful birds - pink flamingos, avocets, giant herons, skimmers, turnstones and curlews etc. And good snorkelling.

If the weather is good tomorrow we will try to go offshore & strike out for Egypt, about 160 miles away. Anway, all well on board.
