Only about 40 miles to go in the high-risk zone, and we'll cover those before daybreak, so if you listen carefully, you may hear the collective sigh of relief in a few hours time.

Today has been uneventful - no visits from fisherman, but we were overflown by an unmarked military aircraft at a height of about 100 feet at midday. In fact it's been too rough for an attack - winds of 25 kn much of the time and a big sea running, which suited us fine.

We'll be pleased to welcome the dawn.
