Why Hygeia of Halsa

Hygeia was the Greek goddess of health, daughter
of Asclepius, the god of health.

Kiko spent the first few years of his life on a 70 foot
wooden schooner named Hygeia, built by a Chinese
carpenter in the Solomon Islands . His father was the
doctor to the islands during and after the Second World
War; the family lived on Hygeia while on tours of duty
around the islands. Halsa?

Halsa is a village on the coast of Norway, near Kristiansund;
Mie was born there.
